Code of conduct

Community expectations for Liquidify spaces and events.

Liquidify aims to keep participation useful, welcoming, and safe for people of every background and experience level.

Expected behavior

  • Be respectful, specific, and patient in technical discussion.
  • Critique ideas and implementations without attacking people.
  • Welcome questions and explain project conventions without gatekeeping.
  • Respect privacy, attribution, licenses, and requests to remove personal information.
  • Disclose relevant conflicts of interest and security concerns privately when public disclosure could cause harm.

Unacceptable behavior

Harassment, threats, discriminatory language, sexualized attention, doxxing, sustained disruption, impersonation, and publishing another person's private information are not acceptable. Spam and deliberately misleading claims about Liquidify, Apple affiliation, or project endorsements are also out of scope for community spaces.

Enforcement

Report conduct concerns privately to the repository owner through the contact method listed on the maintainer's GitHub profile. Include links or screenshots and the minimum personal information needed to investigate. Maintainers may edit or remove content, lock a thread, issue a warning, or temporarily or permanently restrict participation.

Enforcement decisions should consider context, impact, safety, and repeated behavior. Retaliation against a reporter or participant in an investigation is itself a violation.
