Platform builds

Select the shared, iOS, iPadOS, or macOS token artifact.

@liquidify/tokens ships a shared web artifact and generated platform variants for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Each platform directory contains variables.css and tokens.json built from the same token source.

Use the shared artifact unless the product deliberately targets one platform's geometry and visual vocabulary.

For a platform-specific application, import one variant at the application stylesheet boundary. Do not load multiple platform variants into the same scope because later declarations will override earlier ones.

Choosing an artifact

Shared web tokens are the portable default and match the aggregate React stylesheet.
iOS and iPadOS variants are appropriate for experiences intentionally aligned to those platform dimensions.
macOS variants are appropriate for desktop-oriented density and geometry.

Pin the package version when build output must remain byte-for-byte reproducible, and treat the generated JSON as the machine-readable authority for the matching CSS file.
