Prepare a focused code, design, or documentation contribution with reproducible evidence.
Start with a concrete problem and the smallest change that addresses it. The library and its documentation website are separate repositories; choose the repository that owns the behavior or content before running commands.
| Contribution | Useful starting evidence |
|---|---|
| Bug report | Reproduction, actual and expected behavior, source revision, browser |
| Component enhancement | User task, current limitation, proposed public contract |
| Documentation correction | The unclear statement and the implementation or original source that resolves it |
| Design review | Real component states, theme and viewport, and the task being evaluated |
Use the component checklist to identify what needs review. A reserved Labs or tooling page does not establish a submission program.
Public source access was not verified: the configured GitHub source URLs returned unavailable responses during this review. The instructions below assume you already have an authorized library checkout. The checked library root requires Node.js 22 or newer and pnpm 9.15.9. From an authorized Liquidify library checkout, run:
pnpm install
pnpm run setup
pnpm build
pnpm --filter @liquidify/playground devsetup installs the repository's Git hooks. Read the current repository instructions and license before contributing. The last command starts the Storybook workspace; the library root does not have a dev script for the website.
The older community contribution page currently mixes these contexts. Use the repository-specific commands here. For website work, use the website checkout and its own scripts; this guide does not install or launch it from the library directory.
Follow the development lifecycle. Explain the problem, the resulting behavior, and the checks you ran. Include the affected component's states and any compatibility change.
For a library change, run relevant package tests and the applicable repository checks:
pnpm run check --stage pre-commit
pnpm typecheck
pnpm build
pnpm run check --stage pre-pushThese commands are the repository's gates, not a claim that every environment can run every check. Some checks depend on local tools and reference assets. Report a missing prerequisite or skipped check explicitly. Review the current CI workflow rather than assuming it runs every local visual check.
No public review timetable, support guarantee, design-kit submission process, or Liquidify Labs program has been verified. For an enhancement, describe the proposal and evidence without promising acceptance or a release date.
